What might otherwise be considered waste is often perfectly beautiful, high-quality fabric that simply needs a new purpose. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAnd that's where The Passion Project comes in.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt's a little side of Bright Threads dedicated to finding clever, practical and sometimes unexpected ways to turn our fabric offcuts into something beautiful, useful or, ideally, both.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFrom our Pot Holders, designed to carry warm dishes from the kitchen to the table, to our newest Flower Totes, made for collecting fresh blooms without the need for unnecessary wrapping, each piece is thoughtfully designed to give our leftover fabrics another life.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI particularly love that these small ideas can have an impact beyond our own production. Meet The Flower Tote, the newest addition to our Bright Threads Passion Project.

Made from leftover fabric from our linen production, these colourful little totes give our beautiful offcuts another life, keeping perfectly good fabric out of landfill and turning it into something practical, reusable and rather fabulous.

Designed specifically for carrying fresh flowers, they are the perfect companion for a Saturday morning at the farmers market, a visit to your favourite florist or collecting a bunch of blooms for the kitchen table.

And there's another reason I love them. By bringing your own Flower Tote, you're also helping reduce the need for the paper, plastic and other wrapping materials that so often come home with a bunch of flowers.

There is something rather wonderful about that circular thinking. We're reducing waste from our own production while helping reduce waste somewhere else.
